Bhubaneswar: :  Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Friday launched two-hour protest against hike in petrol and diesel prices across the state.

The BJD activists staged demonstration all across Odisha in a phased manner from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon.The members of Biju Yuva Janata Dal, Biju Chhatra Janata Dal, Biju Mahila Janata Dal were seen holding party flags and banners and distributing leaflets to consumers at various petrol pumps in the State. 

In Bhubaneswar, Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and several BJD legislators like Sanjay Das Burma and MLA Arun Sahu, and many senior leaders of the party were seen participating in the protest before petrol pump near Ram Mandir against the surge in fuel prices.
